About Susan S. Blum, MD, MPH our founder

Susan Blum MD MPHDr. Susan Blum specializes in the practice of Functional Medicine, a unique approach that integrates nutrition and herbs for the prevention and treatment of medical conditions.

Dr. Blum did her Internal Medicine training at St-Lukes Roosevelt Hospital, and her residency in Preventive Medicine at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in NYC. She is Board Certified in Preventive Medicine.

She received her Masters in Public Health at Columbia University, and her training in Functional and Nutritional Medicine from The Institute for Functional Medicine, in Gig Harbor, Washington.

In addition, Dr. Blum is on Faculty at the Center for Mind-Body Medicine in Washington, DC, and teaches Mind-Body Skills workshops in the Westchester and Connecticut area. Currently, Dr. Blum is in private practice in White Plains, NY.

She has a strong interest, both professionally and personally in the importance of stress reduction, good nutrition, exercise, emotional, spiritual and psychological factors, in maintaining health, preventing illness and treating health issues and these considerations become an integral part of each patient's personalized health plan.
