Another component to our practice is women’s health. Dr. Blum sees many women who are dealing with the hormonal changes of menopause, before, during or after.

We Offer Bio-identical Hormone Options

Most seek our Center out because they want natural and nutritional alternatives to balancing their hormones and alleviating their symptoms. Dr. Blum has many options to offer for this, and also for those women who ask for it, will prescribe Bio-identical hormones for hormone replacement.

Dr. Blum works with a compounding pharmacist to customize both creams and oral estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone.

This form of hormone treatment is believed to be safer because they are exactly, biologically, identical to human hormones, unlike the hormones taken from horses (equine hormones premarin and provera).

The management of menopause is an individual decision that is discussed at the time of consultation.
